Welcome to Helen Martin Coaching!

I work with organisations and senior leaders to strengthen leadership capability, improve performance, and create lasting behavioural change.

I’ve spent over 30 years inside global organisations, including UBS, GE and Deloitte, so I understand what leadership really feels like in practice. The pressure, the pace, the expectations.

My work brings together that commercial experience with coaching and behavioural science, helping leaders navigate change, growth and complexity in a way that is both effective and human.

I design and deliver leadership and management programmes that support individuals and teams to grow, perform and adapt.

This includes a blend of one to one coaching, group facilitation and workshops. There’s space to step back and reflect, but always with a clear focus on action, application and accountability.

I work closely with Boards, HR, Learning and Development, and Transformation teams to ensure leadership development is aligned to organisational priorities and delivers measurable impact.

You’re expected to have the answers, stay composed, and keep things moving, even when things feel uncertain underneath.

That’s often where coaching starts.

My approach is practical, thoughtful and focused on real change. We work on what’s actually happening in your world, not hypotheticals.

Together, we explore the patterns, habits and assumptions that may be holding you back, and I bring tools and techniques you can use immediately in your day to day leadership.

About

Choosing a coach isn’t always straightforward

There are plenty of offers, programmes and promises. What matters is finding someone who understands the reality of leadership and can support you to grow in a way that feels both practical and sustainable.

My career has taken me across Africa, Asia, Europe and the UK, working with executives and teams in complex, multicultural environments. I’ve seen first hand the pressures leaders face, and I bring that real world understanding into every conversation.

My approach is grounded in behavioural science, positive psychology and practical experience. I focus on helping people create meaningful change, not just insight, but shifts in how they think, behave and lead day to day.

Clients often come to me for clarity, confidence and impact. Together, we work on building the habits and behaviours that make a difference in real situations.

I’ve worked across sectors including professional and financial services, healthcare, technology, legal, oil and gas, and automotive. This breadth means I can quickly understand your context and tailor the work to what will genuinely make a difference.

Alongside this, I hold an MSc. in Coaching and Behavioural Change, I’m a certified Business Psychologist, and a member of the Association for Coaching. I also teach leadership and management programmes, which keeps my work current and grounded in evidence.
